What are the selection steps?

Are there any disadvantages due to repeating a grade or being a ronin student?
There are no disadvantages due to age etc. in the selection process.
Do you value university grades and qualifications?
Your grades will be used as a reference in the recruitment exam. However, when deciding whether to pass or fail, we place emphasis on whether the applicant is the person we are looking for and what we can do.
How is the place of assignment determined?
After gaining experience in all departments during a six-month training period, we will decide on assignment based on the applicant's wishes, suitability, and personnel balance.
How does the training system work?
For the first six months after joining the company, new employees will learn the basics during new employee training and will undergo training in each department. After that, you will decide where you will be assigned and learn about the work while receiving guidance from a selected senior employee.
Where do you work?
You will be assigned to either Hakodate Shipyard or Muroran Shipyard. Additionally, there is basically no transfer after assignment.
Can I use the single dormitory?
Please contact us as it is available.
However, those whose parents' homes are in Hakodate City, Hokuto City, Nanae Town, Muroran City, Date City, or Noboribetsu City are not eligible.
Do you have night shifts? What will your holidays be like?
There are no night shifts. In addition, holidays are a complete two-day work week with Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
In addition, as a unique rule of our company, you will be granted paid vacation from the day you join the company, so please use it for things such as obtaining a driver's license.
