This series is a 40,000DWT handy-sized bulk carrier that was jointly developed with Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Features
- This is a bulk carrier that transports grain, coal, iron products, logs (wood), etc. It is based on the concept of a shallow draft, wide ship, and has a hull design that pursues high propulsion performance and fuel efficiency.
- Equipped with Namura Flow Control Fin (NCF), Rudder Fin and other accessories developed independently by Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., we aim to improve propulsion performance and reduce fuel consumption.
- This is a ship that has preemptively achieved EEDI Phase 2025, which is mandatory for contracts made after January 1, 1.
- All cargo holds are semi-box-shaped with wide openings, and have 5 holds/5 hatches.
- Fixed and tiltable stanchions can be optionally equipped on the upper deck to stack logs (wood) on the deck.
- Equipped with four deck cranes on the hull centerline between each hatch cover, cargo handling operations are possible even in ports where cargo handling facilities are not available.
- Equipped with a ballast water treatment system, we strive to protect the marine environment by controlling the quality of ballast water.
- We have obtained the IHM Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM Inventory), which is required by the Ship Recycling Convention.
